Passport Requirements

Please note that at least six weeks is now required to process applications for collective passports.
Travellers without UK passports who may require visas should apply to their national Embassy in UK.
 

Health Requirements

Check the FCO website for details.  There are no compulsory inoculations for travel to France, Germany, Spain, Belgium or Austria.  Clients with any health problems are advised to check recommended practices with their GP, practice nurse or travel health clinic.
 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is required for all WST tours.  You can arrange your own or book through WST.  For bookings confirmed after 1st January 2009, the insurer will be Fogg Travel.  Your Insurance Policy 2009, Key Facts and Organiser’s Summary are available for downloading.  If you have chosen to use our insurance, we will apply for you. If you are using your own insurance please make sure it’s suitable for your needs and arranged in good time.

Sustainability

WST shows an understanding of sustainability issues and the impact of activities and shares this understanding with users.  WST will advise users about the carbon footprint of their travel activities, help them to make choices and to discuss informally with learners.  Workbooks will be revised to contain questions about sustainability issues.  WST supports A Rocha, a charity which advises on sustainability issues www.arocha.org
