Aachen

Christmas markets are a great way to introduce your pupils to German life and help pupils practise their language skills.  Aachen’s bustling food and craft stalls are close to the beautiful Cathedral and Town Hall, and there’s a wonderful evening atmosphere.  The ancient streets are cobbled and full of character and this compact city is so easy to explore at any time of year.
