Are these the same as in Britain? Why are they different?

2. Write down the opening and closing times of three cafes.

3. What do French cafes sell that English cafes don’t?

4. What is the French word for Chemist? Draw the sign outside a chemist’s shop.

5. Write down the names of two French newspapers.

6. What colour are French post boxes?

7. What is the most common registration on cars? Why?

8. Look out for a taxi. Describe it.

9. Look for these shops, and write down the French shop names:

10. What do these shops sell? Look for them in the town.

23. Boulogne has a big cathedral. You can explore inside so long as you walk quietly and show respect.

24. The altar (holy table) is huge! It was brought here on an enormous cart towed by a team of horses! What is it made of? What is placed on it?
